Our friends at Team JDM, well known for their top drawer builds, has got a hot 2010 Roush Mustang running this year in the NMRA circuit. Their Roush drag car is being campaigned in the Super Stang class. It’s a program Team JDM has been working on with Roush for a year or two now finally making it season debut.
Chris Parisi last years Super Stang class champion is driving the car built in house at JDM. They installed a R2300 TVS supercharger kit along with a few other JDM bolt on goodies including their 2.70” supercharger pulley. With a larger twin 67mm throttle body, long tube headers, and 4.10 gears the car ended up making just under 560 rwhp with an automatic transmission. At its first weekend out at the drag strip it ran a clean 10.41 in the ¼ mile.
For now, JDM is still running the stock 4.6 3v mustang engine which is not necessarily recommended with the TVS 2300. But after several runs, they still have a motor. At the Milan event Jack Roush signed the car which made a great showing there
