2012 Roush Mustang production was 748 units, significantly up over 2011, when 616 cars were produced. While this number doesn’t come close to the 2000+ a year production that was seen in the mid to late 2000′s, it shows Roush is holding strong during these tough economic times.
The most popular model in the Roush lineup for 2012 was the Stage 3 Mustang, one the most expensive models. This statistic of 418 units shows that those who do have the disposable income for a hotted up Mustang tend to go all the way.
Even the ultra expensive Stage 3 Premium with custom paint work which easily tops $70,000 sold some 16 copies, just short of the imposed production limit of 25 units. So if you bought one of these you are in a very exclusive group of owners.
The Hyper Edition Stage 3 also saw some good success with its special lineup of graphics and interior highlight colors. Some 80 copies were sold which makes it the most popular special edition for the Roush Mustangs in 2012.
