Roush asks the question, “does their 525-575 horsepower Phase 1 ROUSHcharger system leave you wanting more power?” Since Ford has now moved onto the 662 horsepower number for their top GT-500 production car, Roush is now free to move in behind.
Thus, Roush has just announced their Phase 2 ROUSHcharger and Upgrade Kit which provides 625horsepower and 525lb-ft of torque from the Mustang’s 5.0 liter V8.
The system uses an all new Roush calibration and air intake. If you aren’t already running a Phase 1 package, it also has a new pulley and belt. The new Phase 2 calibration works with the higher flow intake to offer the bigger power gains.
The new Phase 2 ROUSHcharger is available for both automatic and manual 2011-2013 Mustang GT. If you have a Boss 302 you are out of luck, sorry. If on the other hand you have already on your car a Phase 1 ROUSHcharger, you can get the Phase 2 Upgrade Kit which will bring yours up to the new power level.
The new Phase 2 ROUSHcharger Kit comes with a 3 year / 36,000 mile Roush parts only limited warranty. Read carefully, as if your Mustang has a Roush 3 year / 36,000 mile complete drivetrain warranty, installing either the Phase 2 Kit or Phase 2 Upgrade Kit will void that warranty.
Additionally, The Phase 2 ROUSHcharger is not available for sale or installation in the state of California.
