San Francisco Cruise #5 - 09.30.01
Another great cruise with the guys and girls of fnsweet.com, Mustangworld.com, and 98cobra.com! It was a little challenging keeping everyone together because so many of us showed up!! I would estimate ~40 Mustangs.

It was great meeing new people, and seeing friends. On the way home, we diverted off of 280 to Skyline Road, then down Hiway 9 - what a great way to end the cruise.

Thanks to the organizers, and to everyone that came out. Can't wait for the next one!

5th Annual Saleen Car Show - 09.15.01
Summary: Leave at midnight, drive 5.5 hours, wash car, enter show, bake in sun, win 2nd place, have beer with friends, drive home. That is a full day!

The show was well organized and fun. I saw a few people from this site - Lisa (saleenvixen), Stan (Stone), and Jesse (jesse). There were also a bunch of guys from Mustangworld.com. Althought I was the only Roush, people were cool to me. As I pulled in to enter the show, the Saleen guy out front said "Wow - you are brave showing up here" ;-) It was good seeing all you guys - see you at the next show!!

Santa Cruz Cruise - 07.29.01
Rollin thru the hills with about 25 Mustangs kicks butt!! On Sunday, July 29, a major group of NorCal Mustangs from 98cobra.com and MustangWorld.com got together at The Great Mall in Milpitas. The mission was to get everyone over the hill to Santa Cruz. Over 30 Mustangs showed up at the Great Mall, and unfortunately some could only hang out for the hour and a half or so of visiting and kicking tires. The rest of us burned out of the parking lot and hit the hill for the drive over to Santa Cruz. Amazingly, we were able to keep somewhat together on the crowded drive over. Once in Santa Cruz, the group broke up a little (20 Stangs doing U-turns is cool), but eventually all ended up at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. We all had lunch together, then were off for some action on the Giant Dipper roller coaster, bumper cars, and log ride.

It was a great day, and thanks to everyone that showed up. Snaps to Brian (try2paz) for hooking it up (tho next time I will ask where we are going :-) ). Also props to all of the Mustang Girls - you are all cool for hanging out with us! It was nice meeting the new faces and seeing the old ones!!!
