Valley Mustang Association Show and Shine - 05.05.01 -

This was the 3rd annual Show and Shine held
in Antioch. There were a few more cars than last year, and
it was probably because of the great weather. Last year was
a little cloudy and drizzly. Lots of sun to enjoy all years
of Mustangs this time! Of special note - check out the awards.
One of the organizers of the show found Mustang running horses
from all of the category years and mounted them on plaques.
Very cool. You can notice the small differences in them.

The Granddaddy of Ford shows! This year's event
drew about 1500 Fords. It was awesome walking around and checking
out all of the great rides. I was a little disappointed in the
lack of Roush vehicles - there were only 2 Mustangs and 2 pickups.
I met the owners of the Mustangs - nice guys! I was also very
disappointed at the fact that my car was at home in the garage.
They sure could have used one more FNSWEET car!!!
There was also a get-together with some of the MustangWorld
guys at Hooters the day before the show. Some of the girls came out
for some pics!

Francisco Cruise #4 - 03/11/01 -

Excellent day for a cruise! Went from San Francisco's
Cliff House Restaurant down Hiway 1. In Half Moon Bay, we went
up Hiway 92, then south on Skyline. After a brief stop, cruised
to Alice's Restaurant for lunch, then off to a brief spell of
high-speed twisties!! Ended up in Los Gatos for a bit of a drool
session at the Ferrari dealer. Great day - thanks to Matt for
putting it together, and all that attended!! |

We drove down Skyline, then down to the coast. Great day! |
