I sold my week last year to a guy who took his wife to Thailand.... same deal... cost him 1K for his 2 room suite... he bought his airfare and flew there.... then paid like 130 bucks in taxes (something you do at the resort... I have no control over them).... while he was there he figured out that if he would have booked the place himself it was over 500 bucks a night.
