For those of you with the Roush hood scoop...

The back of my hood scoop, near the windshield, is tightly attached to the hood as it should be. However, the front is not as firmly attached and you can see light between the scoop and the hood. It can be pushed down and the gap narrows, but it does not seem like it can be completely eliminated due to the shape of the scoop as it comes into contact with the hood.

In looking at other Roush cars with the scoop, I do not see this same level of gap. My car is going into the body shop on Monday for them to see if they can tighten the front two bolts that hold the scoop on a bit (not too tight or you can bend the hood), but I wanted to check with all of you to see if anyone else has this issue and if so, have you had it fixed and if so how?

Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem

I will post picks of the fix . I ran a small line of D tape on the very inside edge to supliment the bolts on the forward curve making it bolt on tape on. I Had to do the same on my other scoop Too You can also form it by getting it hot the shape you want and shock it with cold water . Its a thermal plastic
