My understanding of things is that they had a phased plan to roll out the product over time, with the Stage 3 product coming any time now. Of course the RoushCharger is out but the dealer approved installation as we have heard is waiting on EPA/CARB issues.
They way I have heard it is that the time involved is indeed because the car is all new and it takes time to prove out the parts and modifications the way Roush does it. They do more testing and OEM level proving than anyone. They make sure the new parts offer the same NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) levels as factory parts would be expected to, and in the case of the Stage 3 modifications they have many parameters to meet and exceed. In a day to day job dealing with manufacturing, engineering, and outside suppliers this takes time. Ultimately they know they have a following now of dedicated enthusiasts who are demanding. They know we expect a car worthy of a $40-50,000 price tag. They are taking the time to make sure we all get one. |

I understand where your comming from.It is hard to find an 05 Roush complete.I by luck got a Early released Stage 2.I had to wait for the wheels and the rear deck badge.I have the rear badge now but the wheels havent arrived yet.I called on them and was told that the new forged ones are out for the stage 2's but I would have to pay the extra for them.I chose to custom the car by putting on the FOOSE wheels insted of the Roush.Yeah with all new vehicals the avalibility is hard cause its such an "AWSOME RIDE"But worth every penny...As for the 06 Roush has been busy to final them before release cause of the calls on the 05's.I do know of 06 Stage 1 & 2's arrived complete at Empire Ford of Spokane Washington (State). They are there as of 2weeks ago. They have 4 Roush's total Sport to Stage 2 convertable. The Stage 3 are not released smog legal in all states yet but are working on that...

I don't know why they have a sport package and a stage 1 package. Both are the same with the exception of the wheels (which many people did not receive with their stage 1 purchase) and badging. I know some owners purchased Sports believing they purchased a Stage 1. There did seem to be alot of owners who purchase cars and had to wait for parts to arrive at a later date. Demand drives the production though and since demand was high the cars were released. Now the local dealer has had several Roushes Stage 1 and Sport sitting on the lot for a while now.
