Mods - Other Option on Plenum Cover

I bought the plain version of ther Plenum cover from Midwest and installed a 1999 Mustang Pony from the grill location.

Installation Time: 15 Minutes

Before

Remove wire harness caps from fuel rail studs

Then, remove fuel rail studs with 8MM socket. Work Plenum cover on from the back to front then reinstall the studs. DO NOT over tighten. Place wiring harness caps back on.

Installed

Want to see how the pony and decals were installed ???

Well,

Here's the size comparison.

I think the 05 would be too big.

You should attach the other pony to the front (like in the pic), and tell people it is a "limited edition GTR, special edition". HAAAHAHAHAHA

I thought it looked cool too but I just did it to show the size comparison. I also compared it to my 1965 Pony and Corral. BIG difference.

That should have been a factory piece from Ford. It makes a world of difference in the appearance of the engine compartment. I'm sure they made and extra $2 on every car by not including it. It's too bad the fricken bean counters run the company!

Yeah,

It was the same bean counters that said the V6 would out sell th GT. Something like 70% - V6 / 30% GT!

Wow, were they off!
