Check Engine Light??
I know there probably isn't any help out there with a Supercharged 05, my being the "guinea pig" but, I have a check engine light that came on today and curious if anyone has had a problem? I stopped at a shop but, their Snap On scan tool wouldn't communicate. I'm leaving town tomorrow for 10-14 days so I plan to address it when I return. In the meantime, any input would be good.
P.S. It's not red and not flashing...solid yellow. I believe that would be non urgent, more a warning. yes?

I'm sorry but the cold meds just wont let me resist...
Have you tried checking the engine....duh!!!! Again, sorry...blame Tylenol Cold and Sinus.... P.S. My wife says that I still can't have a Roushcharger. I replied with, "But everyone else is getting one." And she said "Well if everyone else jumps off a bridge then would you please do me a favor and follow them..."

Sure thing...In all reality though, my first guess would be it is pissed off about either and air/fuel ratio, or a timing issue...Does it seem to be in any kind of "safe mode"?

I have no idea....how would I know that? I've been away from performance cars for quite a few years. There was no such thing as a check engine light when we were pushing our cars around and paying .50 gallon for gas...

If it is not running rough, it is probably emissions related. Unless you find a scanner that will hook up, it will take a long time to pinpoint.

We have a few 05's in our club that use the Predator tuner to tune there cars.
Im sure I can get my hands on one and check the trouble codes for you. Hell my Predator might even do it dont know for sure.
