Midwest Auto is going to make colored inserts for the sideview mirrors on 2005-2006 Mustangs, they want anyone who is interested to email them, see this link I know I'll be getting them!

This product is a no-brainer. The first time I looked at the stock mirror with that little reveal, I thought that sooner or later someone was going to do the obvious. My question is how will they attach? I guess adhesive is the only option.

According to the website, it will attach with adhesive strips.

i actually met one of the engineers at griffin ford in wisc. he showed me the prototype engine cover. which i begged to purchase and did then promptly had painted to match it fits and looks great. there shop is very close to where i live neat to see the local guys getting attention

I recieved an email from Midwest and they said the mirrors should be available the beginning of February and cost $64.95 inculding shipping.

I received an email from Midwest on Wednesday and the inserts are suppose to start shipping no later than this coming Monday. Had anyone else signed up for the pre-production wait list? As soon as I get them I'll post up some pics. Unfortunately I have to wait until spring to install them, the Roush is in storage at the in-laws.

I received an email from them yesterday with a PDF Order Form. Filled out and faxed back in about 2 minutes! Let's see how long it takes and yes, they are $64.95, tax only in WI and free shipping.

ordered mine too, I'm sure glad I put myself on the list back in december or was it november. anyways,,,they should be here next week. can't beat the price 65 bucks versus 200+ for painting the whole mirror.
