06 Stage 3 on eBay

Just found this. Looks awesome. Wish I had the extra money.

Thumbs up

That should bring a good amount from a collector. It's right up the road from where I live. I wonder if that is paint or powdercoat on the blower?

That is the first production Stage 3 I have seen, looks pretty sweet Interesting how they painted the blower - and the BFG side stripes kind of remind me of the "Shinoda" mark. The bid price is only $20K right now, which would be a great deal for a brand new Stage 3. I doubt that it will sell if it does not get up to $35-40K.

I still cannot tell who is the brake manufacturer.

Sorry, I guess I'm in the minority then because I just don't like it at all.
Whoever ends up with it however will have a very unique and special car.

the only thing that I don't like about it is the side graphics, but other than that it pretty much looks like a sleeper.

The gauge cluster (all '05 and up).

In my opinion, I believe that this new platform Mustang looks better with less.

I like the more understated look as well. I really like the sleeper thing myself. Why show your cards if you don't have to?

It is indeed interesting to see the "1st Stage 3" in photos with special edition type touches. We will see if the car and its future owner pop in here someday.

My first impression was to recoil in disgust. I assume that was the graphics. I did not mind what was under the hood at all though.

Stage 3

I would not have picked white and the graphics do push it over the top a bit; not very classy. Also looking at the interior shot, looks like it's missing the carbon fiber panels on the dash. Wouldn't mind tha motor though.

In my opinion that kind of depends...

It is a "one off" and so will probably have some "extra" value over time.

A standard stage 3 should sell for around $50,000 with the normal kinds of options (seats, dash, pedals, stripes, etc...) So anything less than that would likely be a fair deal. Maybe even a great deal since it is the first of it's kind.

Personaly, I would rather order it my way and I would not want the exterior graphics.

I think this body style needs at least 19" wheels to look good, and those ugly stripes have to go.

And for my last gripe, I think the 3 and the back looks kind of cheesy.
