I can't wait to see more pics. I'll be taking my own sweet time with the install when the time comes. I saw the '8 hrs' estimate and thought the same as you. Are you impressed with all of the parts so far? It looks top notch from everything I have seen.

here are some of the pics . We had to remove battery, throttle body, disconnected all vacum electrical plugs etc. and the removed intake. Battery cable from alternator to battery removed, new cable in kit as the alternator is to be relocated.

With the intake of we taped of the intake ports into heads to protect from contamination getting inside. Lots of wire harness work and heater hose rerouting when intake is off. Note those valves in the old intake ports in that won't be used in the new intake. With intake off you can see the hoses that heater hoses that are to be modified. Note the 2 knock sensors in each side of block.

The first part of the installmis all about mods. Here alternator we had to remove one of the ears that old mounting bracket mounted to. It would be in the way of alt. relocate . We used a chop saw to cut it off and it worked great.

These pics are of some wiring plugs have to be moved from the front to the rear and other side of engine now that the throttle body is going to be at rear passenger sides. When you pull loomix of to pull those groups of wires to their new postion we taped the wires together at the breakout points so when we reistlled the loomix the spsrkplug. injector plugs would be at the right spots. We also retped the the cable hold downs in their original position as we worked our way to the back of harness. It could make it quite confusing I think not taking the time to do this. we also toke the heater hose out of the water pump . The braket that held the 2 hoses together had to be cut as the new hose will come from the new intake. we reninstalled and retaped the wiring harness.

here is some work on the air assembly 1st pic is a round ring you install in the outlet of air box seems insignificant but it is in the kit. Same with dirty air inlet they supply does seem like it would do much. Maf is moved to the new inlet tube from old location. They give you aplate to cover old hole

front hose hanger has to be trimmed to clear alternator. The 2nd pic is the assembled cooler assembly that we have to in stall in front. That is our next step. We have to remove inner fenders, front valance and front bumper to install cooler. Also the new fuel rail and injectors we assembled that came in kit. Here is a pic of one of the prts boxes showing how they have them well sorted and labeld. the new tank for the cooling system will be attched at top of fan shroud. Kinda looks like the fact. rad tank
