Beat a 10psi PROCHARGER with my ROUSH.....well, almost

Almost...key word. There's a local gathering here in Vegas on sunday morning's. Street races are set up on a predetermined stretch of highway. Guy in an 06 with a Procharger at 10psi, maf upgrade and exhaust wanted to run my car. We started at 50mph and hit it, had him all the way through 1/4 and about half mile point, short shifted 5th and he started pulling away a bit. Seems the Procharger pulls harder at high rpm as opposed to the Roushcharger being consistent, not to mention he had an automatic. We ran a 7/10 of a mile...I backed off at around 140-145. I'm gonna try him again maybe next week in a quarter.
Interesting..as well, watched a buddy with an 03 putting down 520rwhp run a brand new Z06, in the 1/4. The vette took him by 1-2 car lengths from start to finish. Weight difference/tranny I assume. The car flies.

Thumbs up

Sounds like you did pretty good against the procharger. That's definitely good news. I saw a post on another forum about a guy with an automatic trans and a Roushcharger. The guy really likes it.
