Supercharged specs ?
This is my first 3v and I am still on the stock motor.
I am running the ATI kit at ~7-8 psi @ 6k rpm. For all running a power adder I have a few Questions. Yes I understand that there are too many variables to consider when comparing apples to apples, so basic replies will be handy. 1:stock block. 2:what is your WOT shift point 3: Boost level and Brand power adder 4: Intercooled ? 5: Target timing numbers [before corrections] 6: Target Air/Fuel ratio [before corrections] 7:Fuel Octane 8: Where are you located ? [for climate estimates ] THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT. This should be informative for all as a summary. Vince Here are my numbers. 1: Stock 2: 6K 3: ~7-8 @ 6k Procharger P1SC 4: 3 core 5: 14 6: ~11.0- ~11.2 7: 93 8: Louisiana We are all scared about chunking out rods. Fact is, you should not worry so much about being "SAFE" up to a certain "H.P." number. Fact is DETONATION is what is breaking your rods prematurely. [yes I know this is the weak link] However you will be surprised with the numbers you can make if you stay away from detonation. Also Pegging your MAF is another common no-no that I see very often Vince |
