Roush Driver X and 05 Stage 2s

I found out that our Stage 2 was used at Lowe's motor speedway in the Road Course portion of Roush Racings Driver X Program.

The Question is this: 25 05 stage 2s, 25 Driver X contestants...were all 05 Stage 2's sent there?

Does any body have video from that show or even better behind the scenes footage or pictures?

Dont know if one of this cars is mine but I did hear about a name that was talked about.Darnell is one of driver X's and may have been a Test driver of my Roush.The photo fits the car but no documentation on it if he drove it.I can say it did come with Test miles on it from Roush and that is documented.It was 240 miles on the car with no ownership until I bought it and I was there when it came off the truck. Let me know if you find out more!!!

From seeing the episode where they drove them, at least you know you car was well "tested" before delivery!

From what I can surmise from the information I have, it looks like 8 cars were alotted for the show internally known as "The Gong Show", including your black one "05-1934_roush".

Not all 25 were part of the show, but most all were some form of a factory demo or press car.

What episode (1-13)? And is there a way to get a copy on DVD?

Also where do you find out all of this information you have?

Mine had about 40 miles on it off of the truck so not all 05 Stage 2s were usxed for this

There are no plans at this time to re-air the show. Episode 7 is the show at lowes motor speedway. The ppl at Dicovery said that they do not own the footage. It is owned by the production company. I am going to try and get ahold of them next week.

Best of luck! I had a documentary filmed of one of my own events by Discovery. Later they told me exactly the same thing when I attempted to get copies of it. They dont have the rights, dont know, cant do, cant have, dont, no, cant, wont, not able, blah, blah, blah.

Discovery did not film this. Brainbox did, and discovery paid for the rights to air it.
