How much HP for added bolt-ons?

In the near future I plan on adding a couple of bolt-on parts to my stage 2 for added HP. Two definite mods I plan on doing is the cold air intake and the pulleys. As for the exhaust, what would you all recommend? When I had my '01 GT I had MAC cat back and a catless X-pipe. It was way too loud and raw sounding. With my '06 stage 2 I'm looking for an exhaust combo that adds power as well as sound - but I don't want in sounding too loud (just louder than the roush exhaust that the car comes with which seems awfull quiet??), and I wan't to keep the cats. And also what section of exhaust will give me the most power in terms of headers, high flow x-pipe, or catback??? As far as HP, how much will the intake, pulleys, and exhaust add?
-Thanks

Before I put the Vortech on I was making 278 rwhp and 292 rwtq. This was with an aFe Stage II CAI, JBA shorty headers and Steeda UDP with stock rear gears. The aFe is a little more restrictive than some of the other CAI's, but did not require a tune. When I did get it tuned she was already at 270rwhp with those mods so I only gained an extra 8 tuning it. And the A/F was right on the money on the first pull before tuning.

The JBA's gave it a tiny bit more aggressive sound on the low end, and real nice when you go WOT. I'm still trying to make up my mind what I want to make it louder now without making it to unbearable.

Do you know how much rear wheel hp a stock GT comes with? I was thinking about adding the JBA's and then maybe some flowmaster's for the exhaust. I want to do the same as you in terms of making it louder but not unbearable. Its just too quiet now.

Stock is probably around the 255 range before any tuning or mods, a little more or less.

Muscle Mustang dynoed a stock 05 at 275hp before adding a cold air intake and tuning it with a tuner. I will be dynoing both our Mustangs May 20th at a dyno day I'll let you know if its far from that.

Not that I really care or it matters much, but was that on a dyno jet or a Mustang dyno. 2 distinct different readings can be had depending on which one you use. The place I use has a Mustang dyno and it will show less than a dyno jet.

With JBA LT's (catless Hpipe), 20" rims, 4.10 gears, intake and off road exhaust with underdrive pullies and perfectly tweeked program, 294/310 rear wheel hp/lb. If you're running stock gears and 17 or 18" rims, I would bump that up to probably 305/320. That's about all you can get out of the modular engine w/o SC.

ONE YEAR LATER May 19, 2007

Here is the new numbers after todays Dyno day / same Mustang dynometer but now with mods -> C&L racer kit, Brenspeed XCAL2, Bassiani catted X-pipe, UD pullies.
Numbers may have been a bit better but I hadn't planned ahead on the fuel so we had to settle on the 92 octane tune.

296 hp / 300 torque
