Stage 1 badge on Sport - OK? No-K?

I HATE the GT badge on the back of my car. I wanted a stage 1 to begin with and have had the 05 Roush wheels on since the first week I got the car; stage 1 would have been purchased but was impossible to come by when I bought my baby. The only available Roush anywhere near here was a Sport.

So I am thinking about grabbing this to replace the GT logo. (if you read the stage 1 is available)

I realize it is an 06 badge and I have an 05 car. I realize I do not have the stage 1, or the dash plate to match. I KNOW I HAVE A SPORT! I am alright with that. Yet, I am torn bc I hate the GT and I dislike the "Roush" option floating around the board bc my car already says that too many times on the rear as it is.

This has been covered before and I remember mixed opinion, but I would appreciate a lil feedback on grabbing the stage 1 badge for my sport.

well, with the wheels is actually could be a 1 now. I am in the same boat, as I hate my GT badge as well. BTW, I work at a Ford store and the cost on the badge is only $49.00. I know this because I was thinking the same thing.

how many times does it say roush on the rear??? only once if you take the window sticker off like I did. why do you dislike the roush emblem. inside the car is where it say roush to many times. when you put the stage 1 or 2 badge on it's still a sport in the back of your mind. just keep the gt on, thats really what it is anyway a "sport GT". I'm in the process of creating a roush emblem in place of the GT because I know it would bug me being a fake stage 1 or 2, so thats why I took my stage 2 emblem off.

Get a custom "R" badge made somewhere & put that on! A little searching or ingenuity & I bet it would look good! Love the R Roush logo...just an idea.

Absolutely agree with the last two comments. I have already been very involved in the Roush Badge thread. Additionally, I have already removed the Roush rear window sticker because I installed white inserts into the "ROUSH" letters on the rear valence.

I know there is an emblem to replace the GT for sport models in the process. Like I said in my thread.... i am only THINKING about the Stage 1 replacement.

I am fairly sure I will not put black and red on my back end. I just do not see the red of that badge matching my back end lights. I would rather keep the black and silver GT against the huge red rear lights. My initial thought is that the red in the badge will forever clash with the lights. I realize that is impossible to fix, but that is why I will not put red on the back end of my blue car.

I was also thinking of this emblem (but picture it domed with the clear resin).
I put this sticker on to see if I like it before I had it domed with the clear resin material. but again, ROUSH to many times on the car.....

Be careful! You don't know how far I'd travel to steal a Roush! (since I am Mustangless) LOL...

I don't think there is a problem with the red clashing, you already have them on the fenders right? Nor with Roush too many times either ... be proud man! Represent! What were we up to in an old thread... 48 places it said Roush on some cars! One more wont be noticed.

I do like that Silver & Red R logo looks good... but aren't you afraid it will clash?? Ha! gotcha!

I find it a little funny considering the hub bub created when someone wants to add different badging.
I'm not of the "If it's not stock it's wrong" mind set.

If anybody cares,the above picture is my picture taken on my desk, I ask xtreme graphics to make me the 3 inch decal. when I received, I put it on. he asked me to send him a photo so he could see what it looked like. mmm I guess he posted it on his website. I think that one has to much chrome on it.

I think the Black Background should Go on the 05 sports like the 65Mustangs; and the silver(crome)on the06's like the 66Mustangs.

Well, just so happens I already have a black one but haven't given it a thought until you just mentioned it. I'll try it out and see what they each look like. I have the Windveil blue so black stands out way to much on them vs the chrome . I'll see if I can get them on the car and get some pics up to see what they look like.
