New Roush wheels from SEMA, starting to get upset...

Hey guys,

Have any of you been following this progress or lack there of should I say? I've been calling once a week since December trying to find out when and how much and the most I've gotten out of them in another month and they are 20"s. I want to install alot bigger brakes and the Stage 1 wheels wont clear them, Baer Brakes. Finally I love the RR02's if they'll ever come out with them.

Just wondering if any of you guys are on the waiting list too??? I'm a month away from going elsewhere.

Later Doug.

Doug,

I have heard nothing, and it is getting to be quite frustrating that we can't get any real information from Roush. It's always 2 more weeks with them...

Bad wheel deal

I talked to Joe Englehardt Wed night at the Roush open house and he said they have the new forged line product but the units are all set aside for build cars. They will not have any available for the retail sector until mid June. I feel your pain as I decided that night to go elsewhere. I am not waiting for June to hear it will then be August or who knows when.

*@#$ Set aside for new cars! What about the guys who bought the cars with the factory junk on them only to be told " Oh, Roush is coming out with some great new wheels" I can see maybe not selling to the public at first but I think if you already have a Roush then you should be able to buy from the first run.

I think Racetech just got my business...

As for the brakes, I want to install the new huge 6-piston calipers and 14" rotors instead of Baer's dinky 2 piston caliper and rotor setup. They may clear with 18's but nearly every stage 1 or even sport has standard Roush wheels and you can see the rotors and calipers alot better with 20's I've already had a set of 18's on the car and they dont fillup the wheelwell enough and I dont want to lower the car because I HATE a harsh ride. I love the way it rides and drives now.

Thanks, Doug.

I just got the wheels I wanted and they look EXACTLY like the ones that are coming from Roush. I'd just about bet that they are the company making them for Roush. Got them from www.Mrt-Direct.com for around $1800 for 20's, without tires of course. They wanted to sell me a package with Nitto's and I want the BFG's KDW's because I love the tread design.

Just wanted to let you guys know, if you are waiting on the RR02's you can get nearly the same in chrome, not polished, for a good price. Yes, they did have to order them and they say they nearly have to make them to order but atleast I did place the order and things are moving.

THanks, Doug.
