Roush New Shifter Handle

has anyone seen this new shifter that roush is putting on their stage 3's.
I was at the knotts car show and got a chance to sit in it and shift it. very very smooth shifts versus the roush shifter they currently have now. I think it shifts alot smoother due to it being alot taller then their current shifter knob. the roush rep said that this shifter will be available,,yup you guess it,,,
"TWO WEEKS"......... this is the only good pic I have....I thought I would throw in this pic of my car also....

Since I don't have an 05+, I won't have much of an opinion on the shifter...

But, I must say, your car certinaly stands out from those surrounding it.

The "Stage 3" that I drove in March had the Roush short shifter and the white ball knob, but it was real short. It was very precise in it's movement. My .02 is the one in the pics looks way too tall......

even with it being that tall, the shifts were very short and it was surprisingly very easy to shift. I shifted the hurst the same day(very similar) and it was so hard to shift, it made the car not fun to drive. I'm thinking about doing this shifter, but I'm still afraid of the infamous shift rattle in 5th gear that are common with the roush shifters. I had the roush shifter when they first came out and it rattled like crazy. the roush representitive that was there that day said that the rattle was fixed with these newer shifters.

Trying to get the shifter up higher like the old Alfa's. Limited hand drop off the steering wheel to throw gears. If the throws are short, I say thumbs up.

This is mine . When I installed the knob I pulled the boot up onto the lower part of knob. I found that tighteng the knob down with the soft material didn't seem right although in most pics I saw the boot was in between

I think they said they are putting them on the new vehicles that they are building, but I'm not sure.
