Cool Hood Pins

hey guys what's up, just got a roush few months back; did any one notice that their hood shakes or pops up at high speeds? i had this problem, and am now debating whether or not to put the hood pins on? has anyone out there put the hood pins on that would be able to give me some pointers? also if any one has any pics on how they look it'll be cool if you could post them for me thanx.

Welcome to the site.........

All I can say about hood pins is this:
DON'T DO IT!

When I purchased my Stage 2 it had them on it. They are the most fn-hideous shit I have ever seen. They don't line up, & the hood shakes like a bitch also. I FN hate them.

But its your car do as you wish!
More reason for me to buy a new hood one day.

Noticed the hood movement on our maiden voyage home from purchasing it in Las Vegas. We were driving home to Washington State thru Nevada cruising in the 80's, meeting the on coming semi traffic on the 2 lane really got my attention, so much so I pulled over to make sure the hood was latched correctly. After that we made sure to speed test it - checked out OK up to 120mph

Went to the dealership at Frontier to ask the same question...thier answer:
The stops under the hood were not adjusted correctly. A half a turn here and there and that was supposed to be the fix. I had her up to 120+ today and saw a little change in previous lifting....basically it got better...
ask your dealership...they can help you!
