I have the Roush "off road" exhaust (Borla stingers) on mine with a Bassani catted x and it sounds bad ass!
BTW, glad to see you FINALLY got your car. ![]()

Roush offroad exhaust. I'd tell you how they sound, but I haven't heard them for over three weeks

They sell them on the Roush site, also Stage 3 Motorsports has them. I can't recall who else does, maybe someone else will chime in and let you know.

Ok...newbie question about exhaust:
Im in california...what exhaust can get me some deep rich sound, not too much cabin noise(reasonable of course...I want it louder and understand there will be more noise) and still be CA Legal? Also as a bonus...will any exhaust packages add a little HP(10+)???

The tough part is finding a system that will fit with the Roush tips.

The offroad mufflers, and Legal mufflers are 715+ on Roushperf.com... HOLLY SH!T. That seems a little steap. the "Legal" Mufflers still do not look like the ones on my car. Mine are the oval shape that I am sure most of the Stage 1-3 come with. The Legal and the offroad ones on the site look round. Anyone know about this. I don't think I will be spending $715 on them anyway but just in case.

You are right, the factory ones are oval and offroad, both legal and non-legal are round. What you could do is to get Borla Stingers or Magnaflow Magnapacks, both round body mufflers like the Roush ones, and have them made to fit the Roush axle back. A shop should be able to bend up some pipes for the axle back portion and have rod hangers made to fit the Roush hangers. You then could reuse the Roush tips. Any muffler shop worth their salt can do this no problem.
The thing about the Roush oval mufflers from the Factory is that they are same side offset inlet/outlet, unlike the factory Ford Mustang GT mufflers, which are opposite offset inlet/outlet.

maybe we can get a group buy together for the roush "off road" exhaust without the tips. Most of us have the roush rear bumper and already have the tips. Can anyone get some info for a few of us just buying the mufflers?
