05 Roush with 65 Coupe

Finally got the 65 ready to go back to the body shop for some touch up items. Thought it would be a good time to roll them out together and get some pics.
This is why my user name is 65AND05. Also, the Roush now has painted calipers and clear indicator lenses up front.

Dang server was acting up! Guess I'd better stick to working on cars instead of PC's

Color: "Y" - Silver Blue Metallic - 1965 Standard Color

Going back all original on it and saving the mods / performance for the Roush.

Single Bowl manual drum brakes so a 289 with a 2 barrel carb is good enough for me! No sense going fast if you can't stop.

Interior Code: 22 - Standard Blue. This car is a basic (non-pony package) 289 3-speed with bucket seats. Nothing fancy, no "K" code, etc. Just something that gave me the Mustang bug and made me buy the 05 Roush. I'll hopefully have it done by the fall but the 05 Mods keep getting in the way!

Looks good! Damn I need to get going on my 66. But I have torn my Roush all apart which puts the 66 on the back burner again!

They look awesome sitting together. Nice cars. How was it painting the calipers? Did you have to use special paint? Was it a pain etc? or was this something that is pretty simple to do?

I'll post a new thread on this mod.

I've got the original hub caps but have decided to go with the Styled Steel Wheels (1965 option) and of course radial tires. That's one liberty I'm taking on the car because they were available in 65 and it will make a big difference in the appearance. The original rims on it now just make it easy to move around.
