Ford changed the lower intake and a few other things for 07 so the charger has to be redesigned with a few new items to fit. The charger fits 05-06 4.6L 3V engines without any issues

The power output for Ford Mustangs from the factory is the same. Who knows about Roush supercharged Mustangs. I get the feeling we are going to find out in the next week or two all about that.

It's the same kit with the same output but some additional parts to work with Ford moving the location of the thermostat mainly. It's also available now I believe.

It would have to be available now if they are making 2007 Roush stage 3's now. i'm not sure if the stage 3's hitting dealers now are 2007's or the last of the 2006's.

I meant available for purchase for the aftermarket, and it was just recently released.

Here is an email response I recieved from ROUSH after asking when the '07 Stage 3's will be out.

Thank you for your recent e-mail. The 2007 ROUSHcharger unit will not be ready until September or October. The 2007 model has a few new parts in the powertrain so we need to redo our calibration from scratch. When it is avaliable it will be posted on our website - www.roushperformance.com.

My 2007 Roush Stage 3 is getting ready to ship next week. I was supposed to have the car two weeks ago, but do to this issue I had to wait. Apparently they have stacks of cars at roush that were waiting for the new calibration and parts.

The 07 automatic mustang GT got a new processor design with more memory, so that may be why they are working on a new calibration.

The story that I was told was that Ford redesigned the lower intake for 2007 and Roush had to make changes in order for the super charger to fit. That is why dealers were waiting for 2007 Stage 3s and that is why there are two different part numbers for 2005-2006 and the 2007. I now have my 2007 Stage 3 and all I can say is Wow. The car is awsome and the supercharger whine is music to the ears without being annoying. The car is everything they say it is.

Chris B.

I have the 17th Stage 3 built for 2007.

ROUSHcharger Supplemental Kit 2007 Mustang 402036
This kit is intented to be purchased alongside the 401420 Intercooled Mustang ROUSHcharger Kit.
MUST BE PURCHASED FOR ROUSHCHARGER USE ON 2007 MY MUSTANGS!
Price: $336.05

From what i was told it had to do with the t-stat being relocated into the lower intake, the kit above converts everything back to the 05-06 style. Thus the extra cost up and above the Roushcharger kit. The info above is from Roush's site but i don't have any info as to what exactly is included in the above kit, sorry.

The kit includes a different belt, 06 cooling parts and brackets, and a different intercooler pump wiring harness.
