Help with Shaker 500 swap out

I looked here but didn't find any instructions on this site; but did find this (written instrustions, no pics) thru google serch:

Has anyone done this? I've also read some posts about the factory speakers sounding like crap with aftermarket head unit. Any help/advise from the guys who have done this (ie:factory amps,etc)?
