Tire Sizes

I just bought a set of 18 x 9's for the car. I am looking for some ideas on tire sizes. I want to fill out the wheel wells a little. At the same time I do not want to affect the ride or the ride height too much. Can anyone tell me about sizes and brands that you have used with this size and your experience with them? Thanks

Arawn,

I have been very happy with my BFG KDW tires, 255/45x18 front and 285/40x18 rear. Great grip and looks good. Same sizes that are on the new GT500.

Hey GNX would it be possible to get a nice side shot of your car so I can see how they look for size? How are they as far as sticking out from under the wheel wells? Thanks for the help

Arawn , you bought 18x9's? GNX , you listed tires sizes for 18x9's or 18x10's?

What are the wheel sizes on the new GT500 are they 9's or 10's?

I have 265/35/18 on the front and 285/35/18 on the rear. I hav heard of folks going up to 310s in the rear too

Tungsten,

The GT500 uses 18x9.5 both front and rear. I have ASA wheels on my car 18x8 in the front and 18x9 in the rear and it works great. Hope this answers your questions.

Arawn,

Take a look at these pictures on the very first post I made on the forum. This will give you some pretty good views of what the wheels/tires look like.
