having this unit installed right now. the guys performing the installation are telling me that they cannot completely tie the shaker 500 system into this particular head unit.

they are saying that i will lose the front subwoofers and that without completely re-doing the car there's no way to hook them up

can anyone here elaborate on this?

thier wrong there is a plug that is a set of rca's out for the subwoofers in the door. you can hook this up to the sub out on your radio and control the level, thats what i did in mine.

I just installed a new stereo yesterday, THERE IS an 8 pin adapter with rca jacks that will connect to the subs. You will most likely have to order it, I had hell trying to find one. Go to this site this is where I got mine www.scoshe.com - 1800-621-3695
