Angry Ground clearance question

For those of you guys with stage 2 or 3s or if you have 18" wheels and the roush suspension; how much ground clearance does the front of your car have?

I go to school in the LA area and i've been wanting to invest in the roush suspension and a new set of 18" wheels, but it seems like practicly anywhere I go around here im scratching the under the front part of my car. I'm comming and going as slow as i can over the ditches and driveways but some of them i'm still scratching. Current set up is the stock bullitt wheels and stock suspension.

i live in LA and have a stage 1 with 18's and the roush suspension. the garage entrance here at work is super steep but as long as i angle it enough when leaving i have no clearance problems whatsover. i pretty much take any incline at an angle to avoid bottoming out or scraping the chin spoiler...haven't had any problems yet.

Mine's a Stage 1 but I had the ROUSH suspension (blue) installed. It has 18" ROUSH wheels, and Cooper 275/40ZR18 tires.

The center of the chin spoiler is 6" off the ground......Chin spoiler hit the ground for the first time Sunday night. Didn't angle enough coming out of a parking lot.

Speed isn't as big of a factor as the angle is. Hit them at an angle homie

And certainly don't forget to watch those curb stops in parking spaces, the front end will lose that battle. I tend to find myself backing into most spots now.

I have a S3 and have not had any problems yet. Been over some mild speed bumps. Haven't had to do any major speed bumps or steep driveways yet...

Yep the angle and speed is the ticket, but video assisted parking is the tits.
beercan is two inches away.
Do try to park in open spaces most of the time tho.

Not to "Squawk 7500" on this thread ....but:

Spindle: where do you have your vid screen mounted?
Is there an RCA Out on it, so you can hook it into a In dash DVD Screen?

Do not have it mounted yet, the cam is hardwired, the screen to the cam is wireless, has a RCA plug in from the cig lighter.
Also has a harness to hardwire the the screen.
No clue as to a DVD screen, sorry.

I have a S3 and I have hit a few times in the front and rear on my driveway which is VERY steep. I have also dragged the middle of the car over speed bumps. I just go REALLY slow, angle as much as I can, and I am usualy fine. I have a couple little marks under the front but you can't see them unless you look under, which is not easy to do.

Please, O Please don't put that Eibach CRAP in your car. Go for something like H&R Super Sports or even the Sports, but don't waste a good Roush Mustang with Eibach's, that's just mean.

by the way I personally just HATE Eibach stuff, I have heard some bad stories about the spring rates, Springs giving out, that kinda of stuff. They are probably really not so bad, but I still hate them. Kinda like liking Ford (H&R) and not liking Chevy (Eibach). So please not too much hate mail.

thanks alot guys, after measuring and assuming roush suspension and 18"wheels with a 275/40 tire is 6" off the ground, I'll lose 1.5" which isnt horrible. I was thinking it was going to be like my 66 shelby, which has about 1.75 from the ground to my headers lol. Now if i could just find out how much a set of forged roush wheels weigh and how much they cost.......

The new catalog has the part numbers so I just talked to Roush about prices for the RR03s and was told:
402422 - Wheel only(05-07) - 714.29
402348/349 - Wheel and RH/LH Tire(05-06) - 899.16
402067/068 - LH/RH w/TPMS (07) - didn't get a price since I have an 05

The wheels wont be available til next month though.

So if I understand you correctly, the Roush FORGED wheels (I assume 18") to '07's have not and will not be available until next month? I think I have already seen them on an '07... although not on mine
