Thats a question that will be answered when the production numbers come out next year. Some of the larger Roush dealerships are ordering these cars for there lots. Other smaller dealerships are only taking orders from customers. My guess is that the numbers will be very small and probably in the 20-30 range. Are you planning on purchasing one of these vehicles?

roush is taking a lot of orders for the 427. where the cars are all going to be unique is how the interior in the cars is set up. most are being ordered with the full stage 3 interior treatment, those are the showroom destined cars. the ones without all the interior goodies seem to be going to people who want to pull the seats, add gauges, and stuff like that. roush actually up'd the price on the 427 package recently, probably because demand is high for these cars.

Ive seen several 427r verts on eBay the last few weeks. Unbelievably most have them have been grabber orange. I have seen a few black and blue ones as well. Good luck with the purchase. Hopefully they will still be making them in the next 2 years when I am ready to buy another Roush.

It will all depend on the orders. I know that my stage 3 is one of 229 total, one of 33 verts, and one of 3 in Screaming Yellow. I don't think the 427R would be more then these numbers. With the lower price then a stage 3 it may be in that area.

don"t worry about how many...my view
I just got my 427R and I will tell you that if they built 10k 20k 100k of these I would still be happy. It is the flat out the most fun thing you can have and still keep your clothes on....
but, that's my opinion...
