06-07 stage 3 mods

Due to authenticity, do you all agree on only using Roush parts for upgrades?? I am thinking future car value. The reason for this question is based on the fact that I am making my Christmas wish list and I was wondering what some of you have done.

What sort of mods? are some aftermarket upgrades such as the pro 5.0 shifter that are better than roush addons,JMO

Two things. One is that I am just trying to see what other owners of stage 3 Roush cars are doing. The other is to see if someone out here can shed a little light on car authenticity vs. value once you beginning adding parts. I am sure that there are some better aftermarket parts out there other than Roush, but again what does this due to the future value of the car? Does it hurt??

Aftermarket parts add nothing to the Value of these cars.
Just save all the stuff you replace, and when you sell return it back to 100% Roush.

Exactly. It is a Ford. Therefore, you will not get your money back. Thus, enjoy it as you would like to enjoy it, because it is yours!

Hey that reminds me. I have to give JR a call to see if I can have all those Mustang parts his company took off my ride. Boy, we could have some extra cash in our pockets if we had all those parts that have never seen asphalt.

The resale value on these cars may come into play in 30 years or so. I plan on keeping my car and so therefore I will be doing lots of mods. What Roush sells I will get in some cases.

Either way I say get what you want, keep the stock parts and in 30 years you can put it back and take it to Barret Jackson.

Heck, even Ford GT's are selling at below sticker now!

Keep a late model vehicle for 30+ years, you might see a return. Not counting inflation, maint., loan fees, interest, ect., ect., ect.

Off my soap box now. Resale value questions need to have a sticky on all boards...

P.S. All Homes Loose Value, Too!!!

I have used every roush part available for mine. Only thing I have that is not Roush is the adj. panhard bar. Couldn't get one from them at the time. I don't think there is nothing left that i can get from roush except the seats.. I have about 65000.cdn into it so far.

Roush or not to Roush

I own a 06 stage-3, prior was a 02 stage-2. I had the 02 up for sale it only had 18,000 miles on it . I drove the car but did'nt beat the shit out of it. The only non-roush part on the car was the bullit fuel door. It caused me to lose the sale. I replaced it with the original and the person bought the car, July 06. Note!, the person bought this car because it was immaculate, the dash was autographed by JR. The person said he was going to store the car??. I sold it for what I bought the car for in 02.

Add what you want to the car, because really for the next 3-5yrs your value is only going to go down from what you paid.
