Where did you get your Aluminum Driveline from.

I am not sure who has a aluminum driveline on their 05+, but I do want to do this and I can't find a place that sells the 05+ ones.

i found carbon fiber driveline for $965 or something, but I don't look under the car enough to make that worth while.

You do realize that a carbon fiber driveshaft has absolutely ZERO! to do with looks....right???? It's lighter and stronger than aluminum.

Is spending several hundred dollars on an aluminum driveshaft that you will never notice a gain on "worth it"?
Carbon fiber means less rotating mass in the drivetrain, less total vehicle weight, improved strength. Unless you're car sees the track OFTEN, I wouldn't bother.

I AGREE, but on the 05s+ it is a clunky design, the two piece.

I agree. The benefits would be minumum at best.

ALL Mustangs have a clunky design LOL. I have yet to find a Fox and up 'Stang that doesn't have the "slack" in the driveline.

Yes I know the Carbon Fiber isn't really looks. I just don't see the weight difference between the one peice aluminum and the carbon fiber worth the extra cost. I know the strength is there as well to but I don't think I will ever make enough power to hurt the aluminum ones let alone a carbon fiber one. Therefore the last thing would be looks and I can't see it so.

I just like spending money on mods (Just not too much), and an alumium driveline would be a good thing. I do see the track now and then as well. I don't like to two peice thing either.

i'd go aluminum, its one piece vs two on the 05's and lighter. wouldnt bother with carbon fiber for a drive shaft unless your a race car driver and 1hp means that much to ya.

I put a one piece aluminum in mine and i think it was worth the cost.
The stock was a heavy two piece ulgy pos.
I cant say what rwhp gain this one mod gave me, But it's half the wieght and it cleans the slop to the rear end and that has to improve the power to the rear wheels
On a Bad note i do fell a little vibration at idle but it goes away when i start drivin. had the drive shaft balanced again no help.

If you guys want to wait will be be producing several driveshafts in the next month or so of various materials. AND they will be priced much better than what is currently on the market. SO if you want a aluminum driveshaft for a 05+ Mustang.. be patient.. you'll not regret it.
