Roushcharger - Check this out!

I was looking through my Jegs catalog and found the Roushcharger complete setup for the 05 -06 Mustangs at a very loooow price. Part #832-401420 for $ 3202.99. In my opion if its listed at that price, they would have to honor it. The listing is on page 99-M of their Christmas Catalog. Anybody else see it?

They did this on the last two catalogs I received. I called the day I receieved the first one and they refused to honor it. They also have the wrong price on the Roush Suspension kit. The fine print in the catalog states that all prices are subject to change without notice. Makes you wonder how they arrived at the price...could it be their cost as a distributor?

Most of the time if there is an error in a catalogue a business is not bound to honor it. If you look in the fine print, most catalogues have language to that effect.

If is it an honest mistake they do not have to honor it. There was a court case in San Jose a few years back where someone sued the local Jaguar dealer because the car was advestised at $4000 instead of $40,000 and they refused to honor it. When it went to court the judge ruled that "If a deal is too good to be true OR if it is a honest mistake the business does not have to honor it"

I realize that it could be a mistake, but you think they would get it corrected before the second catalog came out.

Generally, any type of advertisement is not an offer you can hold a company (etc) to. It is most often seen as an invitation to bargain. If it is in the nature of a reward/promise, i.e., 100 bucks if you do something, then they can likely be held to it. Also, if an offer is specific as to quantity and expressly indicates who can accept then you can hold them to it. For example: "1 Roushcharger for $3200, first come first served."

Ouch dont think so. If you were to Fab somthing it would cost a lot and definitely wouldnt work with the Roush Tune.

I went round and round with them on this issue, even talked to 3 different supervisors but still negotiate $1000 plus free shipping on the Stage 2 suspension kit. Win/Win
