Roush matte finish stripes + Car wax

Here's a newbie question. Just got the 2007 roush stage 1. (Pics are on the other post.)

Can I wax right over the matte dark gray stripes???? Seems like a stupid question but I dont want to mess anything up...

With that color I would say dont do it.If its a clear wax and drys clear it might work, but as like when you hit the black molding it may become alot of work to buff it off.

Don't put wax on vinyl stripes, I had a mess on my 1979 Pace Car because someone put wax on the stripes.

Thats the problem using old tech wax on new state of the art finishes.
Good Carnuba rules on most paint surfaces.
The new synthetic products such as zaino, can be used on any surface, be it paint or vinyl stripes, got 18 coats on mine, no problem with the stripes.
maybe justang can chime in

Use zaino brothers wax Doesn't contain distalletes and it does not leave any white residue on black mouldings , rubbers etc

Give Justin at obsessivedetail.com a chance to sell you some of his products. I used Zaino until I switched to his line of products.Hands down the BEST wax and polish products out there. And he is always avaliable to give tips and advice. You will not regret the choice. BTW,he is one of our site vendors.
