Exclamation Pre-Warning Maintance for Roush Suspension Stage 2's,3's,and others.

Just a little say in checking out your ride once in a while...
I've got 20,000 miles on my 2005 Roush Stage 2.
After noticing a slight clunk driving slowly over some bumps in the road.
I had found that my front sway bar link bolts were loose.
So as a warning for you all that have a Stage 2, 3's, and others with Roush Suspension check it on loose bolts.
This maybe a result of stiff and normal wear of a performance suspension.
Like with any car do your maintance and stay safe and have fun...

Ive actually had my Stage 1 w/ Stg 2 suspension in at Frontier almost 5 times for that same problem. The last time in they took the suspension off and more or less glued it into place w/ loctite. Next solution, if it comes loose again is to go to locking nuts + loctite.

It sounds really bad when it gets loose and the car handles really poorly at that point too. You'll know when it goes.

Oh yeah, I only had 10k on the suspension when it started happening. After that, it came loose, both sides, 4 more times within a 5k period.

Good warning for all to watch!

Good ideas with the lock tight and washers. I was thinking of adding a silicon jam nut behind the regular nut. If there is enough room to add one.

Thanks for the heads up, mine is going in for a few warranty items in a week or two so I will have them check the suspension as well...

Three of my brakes were lose from Roush, they at first did not believe me but they found one that the bolts were finger tight. Thanks for the heads up.
