Teaser Thread: 2008 Roush Production Numbers Coming

I am now in possession of the new 2008 model year ROUSH production numbers. Many thanks to Roush Performance for providing this information so that we can continue our tradition of hosting them here.

It will be a short time before I get them posted onto the "ROUSH Research" section of the website for some good reasons.

For the first time this year, they have provided detailed numbers for different color AND stripe combinations.

The downside of that is that it takes longer to disseminate and lay out. But I can deal, it is nice to have the information.

So, be on the watch in the next day.......they're coming

I can tell you that total Mustang production was 1706. This is only slightly down from 2007, and quite a feat given our current economic environment.

BTW: Can anyone guess what Mustang is the most popular for 2008?

I will put my money on the 427 again. I was speaking with my Roush Rep last weekend at our show and I asked him about the numbers. He didn' t have them with him but said the 427 was in the 900s. I doubt if any other Roush could top those numbers. But I could be wrong.

I am interested to see the color breakdowns again!!

It will be interesting to see how the numbers fall out for this year. It would also be great to have the color/stripe/interior combo numbers for the '07's. I have 1 of the 12 grabber orange verts and am curious out of those how many had the two-tone interior.

I can tell you that the way it is going so far today, it will likely be tomorrow or the next day before these are up. There are SO MANY combinations, that laying them all out in tables is going to take time.

I can share that there are *A LOT* of people with ONE-OF-A-KIND cars. And that is pretty cool. There will be some new bragging rights.
