I have a Dynatech 3.5" aluminum shaft I got from Steeda. The Drag pac shaft is steel and still weighs a few pounds more then the aluminum ones. I saw if your going to do it, then by the aluminum one. I bought safety loops at the same time. I haven't had any issues with the dynatech shaft and am happy with the choice.

The Roush is about 5-8 pounds heavier then most aluminum ones but it seems to be rated for higher HP numbers which seems like it would make it more durable right? Also shouldn't it flex/twist less? I guess I could shave more from a lightweight flywheel if I got this.
