Clogged cat's

Q;if the p-51's are having problem's with clogged cat's from running a rich tune,what about our stge 3 or 427r's.Would we have the same problem?And how can you tell if they are stopped up.

A Vacuum Gauge ,, Warm Car To Normal Op Temp,, Have Your Gauge Hooked Up Rev Car To 2000 Rpm And Hold It There For About 2 Min I Think,, And Montior The Gauge It Should Stay The Same From When You Rev It Up If It Falls Off The Cats Are Getting Clogged

Not for 2 minutes You rev it up and the vacum will drop to zero or below and will climb right up right away. If you you quickley give almost full the throttle and vac stays below 0 and does not climb the exhaust is plugged. Same as old cars with vac. winshield wipers. You floor it and no wiperes for a few seconds then they would start to work again.
