Thumbs up JDM stage 5 kit installed

I finally got around to installing everything from the JDM stage 5 kit except the heat exchanger. This kit really woke the car up, my tires definately wont hold anything on the street anymore. Seat of the pants improvement seems pretty big, and the supercharger really whines now. I am heading out to martin friday night for a test and tune for some track results. I'm not sure why the kit came with new plugs they were the same ones I pulled out just gapped less, but otherwise im happy so far!!!

By the way Im running the bogarts with mickey thompson street et radials. Anyone have swaying issues on the big end? I went out last friday and over 100 MPH the car really seemed to sway/pull all over the place.

Ive got an auto ill find out on the hook on friday. It was stock roushcharger before so i didnt have hook issues on the stock bfg's. But on the big end they seemed really shaky. Also its the same plug i had before, could have just re gapped em and saved $115.

Are you talking same brand, or same heat range as well? If so, I'm sure you could sell them.

Get some skinnies up front, it should eliminate that sway on the top end. Bias ply tires in back and radials up front can do that. Also the wide tires tend to follow the road, or in this case the groove in the track.

Absolutley right!

Glad you got everything going Shawn! Let me know when you get a chance to hit a dyno, so we can dial it in! The difference should show at the track too but i know there will be more left in it if you check it on the rollers!

I'm at 12.09@118 and am trying to decide on the AFCO or Steeda heat exchanger. The AFCO is a little bigger, but I don't know if it is any better.

If you dyno...try not to dyno with the ET Street Drag Radials on the car. You will get a better hp reading with the street tires on.

I never got any wiggle or loose feeling from those tires up top. I ran them as low as 16.5 lbs and she just hooked and went.
