My Procharger problem...please help!!!

First off, great site and great info....thanks for letting me join this site and helping me with my problems and giving me insight into future projects

Alright on with the slight/major? problem....

I put on a D1SC Procharger about 2 1/2 months ago. It is tuned to run at 10lbs of boost. It came with 39lbs injectors, I upgraded to 60lbs. I have a Diablo MAF IA and a KenneBell boostapump. It was tuned with a Diablo Predator.

Ok, well now when I start the car and the block is cold and i hit the gas hard to rev up the rpm's it sounds like the engine is playing catch up. It will start clicking and then it will finally rev to 3500 rpm's or so. It will do this for about 5-10 min or until the engine has been brought up to medium temp (or so as it reads on the engine temp dial).

Then another problem happens when I am on the highway and decide to get on the bitch and about 5 min after this the damn thing runs so rich the boost gauge does not move past 1psi. The car will not accelerate no matter how much I push down that gas. Then all of a sudden after it does not want to go anywhere the car will then go back to running the way it should. But after this happens every 15 min or less the car will run so rich and sluggish again.

Is there something wrong with the tune, spark plugs, or fuel delivery?

Need help so I do not go to a tuning place and spend assloads not knowing what really needs to be looked at.

I will try to get a 30 sec vid of what happens to the car when I start it. I will shoot for tomorrow, since I am working on installing some crap.

Once again thanks for all the advice and help!,
Chris

Sounds like you really need to find a tuner you trust and use him...

Who tuned it? 60lb injectors is also too much, especially if the tune isn't setup for them. It sounds like it's running pig rich, but you can't just make changes via the Diablo and expect it to be perfect.

the shop was located in riverview, fl....it was zamboni speed and I think that is the problem too, I have way too big of injectors and the damn car is running so rich

I know just tuning it wont do it, so do i have to change them out to a 42lbs or a 50lbs?

Thanks,
Chris

If the clicking is from the fuel injectors, it will most likely be leaking headers. I had a similiar problem with mine, changed the header gaskets and the problem was gone.
