Back From The dead!!!!!!!!!!

Got the GT500 dual pump installed. Now on road test A/F is 12.3 to 12.5 on a hard pull compared to 13.5 to 14.5 before. Must have been starving for fuel all the time. Performance at lot better then before. Here is pic of the old and the new dual pump.

tooltime- Did you buy a "kit" with wiring harness and all or will the pump on its own swap out with stock pump and reuse the stock wiring/relays/etc.?

Did you have to change the tube when you install a pump like this?

It was a kit from ford racing which included the wire harness, extra fuel driver module, relay. It now has 2 fuel module drivers one for each pump. Only thing I neede to get was a roll of 1/4 loomix to protect the power wire to the front fuse box from the . Was not hard to do at all. The instructions you can see on the ford racing site under the gt500 pump. Tight fit getting the new pump into the tank but with a little patince it went in. The pump was under the rear drivers side seat. Ford says this should be used on anything over 400 h/p. The single pump is running at full pressurre all the time which it can not handle as it was not designed for this . That's why the shelby uses this pump. If anyone does the install I can help you out.

I'm thinking about getting this kit from blowbyracing.com. How long did this take you, cost, and how much boost are you running?

938.00 cdn was the cost. I spent 3 nights after work doing it and running about 6lbs boost.I have a 2.57 pulley on it's way and the roush cold air intake from roush on it's way. Then I am going to get a custom tune.

I just installed the saleen version of this pump 2 weekends ago (from JDM). Directions were pretty straight forward and it took about 3 1/2 to 4 hours most of which was spent getting the pump into the tank (why didnt ford cut the hole 1/2 inch bigger!) and all the mindless zip ties!
