Get the TVS2300. The Roush supercharge is rated at 455 HP at the flywheel, which means there is less than 400 rwhp.

Welcome to the site. The one thing that the Roush supercharger does is give a warranty and is a "safe" amount for the car with the Roush tune. However, for just raw power there are better chargers out there. It just depends on what you want.

What kills me is my Kenne Bell is an old 1.7, 4 years old now...

And I still put down 420 to the wheels with a "safe" tune. Then again I only have a 2 valve...

You can also go with the Ford Racing Whipple 400 rwhp. Because your Roush is a '06, you probably would not get any warranty. If you have a Ford dealer you trust, they can do the installation. They also have a 500 rwhp whipple to.
I got my 400 hp Whipple installed at my local Ford dealer for $700.00.

I'm doing the same thing.
This is what I've ran across it is simple.

If you have a shop(Dyno shop) you can trust and if they can do a tune(dyno tune) on your TVS2300 go with this.

If you dont have a shop and want to save your money and play it safe go with the Roushcharger M-90. Roush includes the tune, and you can call Stage 3 for the 2.57 pulley up grade.(Pulley upgrade good for 500 flywheel HP).Stage 3 Motorsports 2005-08 Mustang Cold Air Intake, Pulley and Performance Tune for Roush Superchargers

Myself I'm looking for a shop and if I can't find one Roushcharger I go.
*Or if this market change happens then I go to Roush with my Prototype Design to be built.(oops I let out a little secret)

Welcome aboard Buff!

You can't go wrong with either of the Roush blowers, as long as they are installed properly. It really is up to you with how much horsepower you want, and how extensively you want to start modding.

There are several site sponsors on here that willl probably chime in, or you can call them for more detailed information.

Defintely keep us posted on what you decide!

You can purchase the Roush TVS2300 from Stage 3 and get the option that comes with twin GT500 fuel pumps and a tune from JDM. The fuel system upgrade is a must anyway, so this is a good option to consider since it comes with a tune that's tailored to your car's mods. If you plan on showing the car, and you can get your hands on a polished TVS, there's a member named Carmen on this site that can make you polished billet pulleys. Anyway, I love the TVS because it's BAD ASS and you get to keep your Roush a Roush.
