I ran into this, and the stock rubber strut plate/mounts are poor.
If your running any lowering suspension you should really upgrade to a adjustable camber strut plate system.

Honestly you will feel better knowing that these strut plate/mounts are for carving the corners that Roush was made for.

This a redsinged upper plate. I had to pay for mine as I had no more warranty. I looked at the ones you said but i have no problem with the caster and camber settings. But if your car is still on warranty get er done for free.

I'm going to replace mine with Shelby GT500 strut mounts when I'm going to install the stage 2 suspension on my car. They are stiffer then the GT's but will still be compliant and quiet over the bumps not to mention they're only about 60 bucks.

I beleive that is the replacement strut mount you get for a replacement. Tech at Ford dealer told me this.

It's possible look at the CS bumper same as the GT500 but priced differently because of the "SVT" moniker on the Shelby parts.

A little more FYI ; we have seen on the Roush car with a clunk or bump. We have had a few cars that have the front end links loose. Its simple re-torque.
