Smile Hi there

I've started posting here but I might as well get around introducing myself.

My name is Walter. I don't have a Roush car per se but I have on 07 Vista Blue GT that has been slowly moving toward "Roush" status over the last year or so. It started out as the ultimate mutt project but somehow it has gravitated more toward the Roush side of the equation as it will have more parts from this company than any other.

This is my real first car (I bought all by myself) and I plan on keeping it for a long time that said I'm not afraid to take it out to the track (road racing / auto-x) and hit the local meet and cruise spot.

I'm looking to finish up my suspension with Roush components and give the car a facelift for the 427R look. I know that doesn't really make it a "Roush" car but it'll play well at being one.

Anyways glad to be here :

Welcome Walter!

There are many FnFamily members who have created their own versions of the perfect Stang too, you are in good company! And...well, as you can see I am a bit partial to Vista Blue 427R's, I think it will look fantastic!!!

Welcome to the site....there are alot of friendly and knowledgeable people here. I myself have enjoyed the input from the people on this site. I've found that they're more than willing to help or steer you in the right direction on any questions you may have.
KEEP creating what you want and enjoy and love what you're creating. IMO, in the end.... (if there ever is one ) you're opinion on your girl is the only one that really matters.

Welcome Walter!

Glad you're here to join in!

I bought a new 07 GT and have "Roushified" it to my own taste, style and vision of what I wanted it to look like and performance level. There are a few others here like us, so just jump right in!

Lol not quite. I think he's probably saying that its more fun to build one yourself to your specs then driving off the lot with one already done up. I kinda see where he's coming from there's more of a sense of ownership when you do that.

I live in Houston since you asked.

Awesome reminds me of college. Imagine 4 Walters going around and we all knew each other. That was pretty cool for a name that's lost some popularity over time. One of my parent's neighbor is also a Walter and I work with one too!

I'm waiting to get this suspension finished to see how much I can push it with the "other" non Roush upgrades I have installed like the Watts link. I can taste the 1G skipad.

Lol too rich for me. I wish I had 15K for suspension mods but I think I'm headed in the right direction for a great street/track setup that won't bankrupt me.

Anyway last I checked they measured 1.55 on those I guess they upped the insanity
