Exclamation Help please

Last year I put those billet armrest covers that go around the window controls on my car to dress it up a little. Ever since then I've thought I had a blown door speaker, well the speaker is fine. The damn billet things are vibrating when the base is pounding. These things are held on with the typical double sided adhesive tape. What's the best way to get them off without screwing anything up? If they leave adhesive behind what is the best way to get that off?

Thanks.

I used the hair dryer idea. Worked great! Just let the billet covers heat up and they came right off. Then used the hair dryer to heat up the adhesive that was left behind and it rubbed right off with my thumb. Awsome advice, thanks!
