More than likely it won't be right. I had to get a wiring diagram from Roush when i was building mine. They had the cooling fans and the charger cooler pump wired backwards from Roush!!

Did you check your owners manual? They used to have them in the back.

use the wiring diagrams from a security website. I have a disc for the car, but it's pretty complicated and it didn't help me much. It's also out of date and doesn't really work right. I ended up getting directed to a site like the bulldog security site, and it was much better.

These cars are all wacked out, and the wiring system is very weird. The brain is behind the passenger kick panel and you will pretty much be hooking everything up there.

No, the 05+ cars are not wired ANYTHING like a normal car. These cars have a brain that ALL wires go to and from. This controls things like the windows, door locks, alarm, lights, trunk, and just about everything creature comfort wise. I don't use the factory alarm on my car. I keep the key fob just in case though.

I also tied my alarm into the fog lights instead of the headlights, I think it's a little "cooler." I also have the horn tied in. Let me tell you, you don't want this alarm going off in the garage cause DAMN, it's loud.

Also another great trick to keep the engine bay looking nice, make the horn louder, and MUCH, MUCH harder for theifs to get it. Put the Horn in the fender well under the liner. I did this on the 98 and on this ride. The horns were small enough to allow it to work. Its a great little trick from my stereo install days, and I hate the way the horn looks in the engine bay.

Thanks for the horn idea. The alarm I chose was the Viper 5900 with the 516L programmable warn away horn, 519H2 garage door interface, 530T window controller, 506T glass breakage audio sensor, 508D dual radar sensor and the 507M digital tilt sensor.

DON'T USE THE WINDOW CONTROLLER.

Now that I have your attention, at least find out if it will work right. Keep in mind the 05+ mustangs roll the window down that little bit each time you open your door. The modules that I got (not the same as yours) take control of the windows when the ignition is not on. They are a realy pack, and when the ignition is on the regular window switchs control the windows. When the ignition is off the module gives the alarm control of the window, taking away the ability for the car to give the window that little kick down when you open it.

I didn't do any major research on how it all works together, and your modules may be different. So just check into it.
