P51 Pcm & Belt Tensioner Warrenty

Here is an e-mail I received from Roush in bold below, thanks to Gianni Mocchi that I have been dealing w/ for years. My # is 101 and did not have the work done as I previuosly was told from the dealer, so all numbers should check w/ Roush to see if it has been done, but it seems unlikely. This is the update that gave the dynojet results of 505 rwhp as opposed to 436! Major difference. Looking forward to getting it done.

To better assist you with your concern take this vehicle to your local Ford dealer and have them contact ROUSH to complete the Product Bulletin #041808-1. Which a PCM update and a tensioner update will be preformed. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact our warranty department at 1-800-59-ROUSH Option #2 . Attention Joe.

Dude, look, I am glad you have the P-51 but seriously quit tryin to prove you have a bigger ding-a-ling than anyone else. This is three posts now of you trying to prove you are better than anyone on here. Even HotRodHarry is saying what we have echoed in the fact that no two cars will produce the same numbers....

LOL, you're not getting it! I have nothing to prove w/ a P51! And when the hell did I try to say or prove I was better than anyone else? You jealous????

I am posting this latest info to help out the other P51 owners on the board,so this doesn't concern you boy!

Here is a comment I posted in your other thread yesterday,

Dude, get a grip. Your car makes 510 crank horsepower just like it was engineered to. Muscle cars of old has nothing to do with high performance cars of today. If Roush markets it at 510, it makes 510. Period. I guarantee you, they are not giving you more than you paid for.
That would completely undermine their ability to boost the numbers in the future with a little tweaking. Just take a look at the progression of the Stage 3/ 427R 415hp, 420hp, 427hp, 435hp. You get the picture. What changed? Nothing but a pulley and a few strokes on the keyboard updating the tune file.

So there you go. Just like all 150 other P51's, you got your 510 crank horsepower just like everyone else. Now, Roush will start upping the ante. Hopefully they will also supply you with new vinyl graphics that say 580hp.

LOL, all a bunch of Jealous fools. I am just an enthusiast that is interested in what the real numbers are, because you can never trust advertised hp ratings. This thread is info for P51 owners.

I must apologize to you 360rocket, I did not see your comment below your pics that you were just busting. I still own a 99-04 and will never bash that generation or any stang generation other than the mustang 2! lol

Jealous of a 4.6 L V8? Nah.

BTW: If you really wanna appreciate how your P51 goes, take it to Englishtown on November 1. $225 all day road novice course event with classroom instruction morning and afternoon, on course morning and afternoon. Brand new road course, just opened this year.

Love that pic of Ol Roush's Mustang II ! I remember seeing that car back in the day!

And I will also say that that Etown Road course is a blast! I think its 225 first time there and later 125 ..or something like that. Fun track to take your Roush cars to.

Enjoy the day guys....but please. Dont kill eachother...

I consider anybody that has a problem w/ this simple thread directed to P51 owners and a problem w/ me trying to determine actually how much HP a P51 is making, is a Jealous person, deal with it! Otherwise why would you care, it doesn't concern you?

Come on US Blue, I know you a long time on here, I joined about 6 years ago like you. To call the P51's 4.6, just a 4.6 is an insult to Roush performance after all the internal work they did to it!

That being said, as of this moment, you have the top dog Roush Mustang. Period. (And it is a sweet ride) So there are probably a few guys who are jealous of your ride.

But, if history stands true, the P51A won't be top dog for that long. (I still remember when the 01 Stage 3 was the biggest dog in the entire mustang world at 360hp).

I will admit that I wish I had a TVS blower on my ride, like you have on yours. But if I did, then I'd be a member of the 600+ hp club. But I'd still be looking up at the Super Snakes

Finally, I am going to try and make the track event on Nov 1st - you should try and go too. And if you dont want to beat on the P51, bring the 360
