p-51 b dyno'd today

ok like i said before tune is better car runs better and is alot more responsive . the first pul was 498 rwhp and 496 rwtq. i know its a monster !!the other two pulls were with in five of those numbers, will post the sheet monday when im back at the shop

I'm STILL trying to get Phyllis into the idea of letting me aquire another ROUSH for myself; since she has hers, so I need the #'s to help my cause.
WORSE comes to worse....I'll make a deal with her that the new one will be hers and the one she has will be mine......I'll leave it up to her.

So is that the same tune as our upgraded pcm that Roush sent us??? Jerry says it is a much stronger car and more responsive then before.

i drove the p51 A and that thing was nasty responsive, trying to do 10 mph was a challenge. i can only imagine the B...jealousy

Everything powertrain wise is supposed to be the same. Remember that Mager's P51A made 504 rwhp after the new pcm was installed.

it is funny. if you drive an 06 or early build 07 stage 3, it is night and day difference when compared to a later 07 and up. waaay more responsive and soooo much crisper and cleaner in stock form. sounds like the same situation here.

Who exactly warranties that car because Ford said they don't and FORD ESP will not cover a supercharged Roush, got it from the horse's mouth. My buddy's Blackjack has an aftermarket warranty that is a bit questionable.

roush warranties the powertrain and all their added components. ford warranties the rest of the car. the dealers just have to submit to roush for payment when fixing 'roush' things.

Did you get the recall done? Pulley wise, are you talking about the tensioner upgrade?

Hey GP, how many miles were on the B? It is recommended to put 3k on the clock before a dyno run.

there are 9 miles on it now and yes normally a 3k break in is nice but after going around the block i knew this car was strong and had to see for my self . as far as all else the new belt setup is a great move and the new tune rocks . as far as the comment about the older o7 vs the newer 07 stuff its all in the tune . its like the 09 stuff the new 09 gt's have a different idle strategy and take a little more tuning on soime things i.e. cams and such . a good custom tuner is becoming worth their weight in gold now a days . ill post the sheet in a few when i have some more time

Here is a link from my website showing the dyno numbers after the custom tune that JDM did after they ran the updated Roush tune at 504 rwhp. Its a very soft tune...nice and safe on pump gas. Ended up at 524 rhwp

I got to take this car out for a little spin (<---pun intended) yesterday. And spin it did, all the way to red line in 4th That is a sick car for sure, almost down right scary!!!!
