Anybody want a cheap Roush parts car?

I saw this on ebay. If I'm not mistaken this is the one that went off the road, into a median, went airborne and landed backwards in the opposite lanes.

eBay Motors: Ford : Mustang (item 250334495036 end time Dec-06-08 18:00:07 PST)

Not a real Roush. Vin search came up with this.

Below are the search results found for the VIN number "206553":

Sorry, but no results were found.

Plus look at the off brand wheels and no rear deck emblem.

Well, I would say the car itself would probably only be good as a donor as it is. But what makes me laugh inside is that they say they have been driving it in the parking lot. Can you imagine seeing that thing going in circles? lol

I did ask them if they would sell me some of the parts off of it like the rims if it doesn't sell.

everything in the engine and tranny probably rattles real good after a hit like that, probably worth about $500 in scrap. Does not even have roush seats. Are there any straight or unbent panels on this car???

Stay away, real far away

OUCH! Do you know what happened?

The silver was a local wreck here. Everybody from our church thought it was pastor J.

He was just looking for rims for drag tires!

See, this is a great example of what happens when you try to change a Roush car. Roush obviously thought the car needed four wheels but apparently this driver thought the back wheels were not needed. lol

Interesting you say that - I have an 05 roush sport that came with Kazera wheels, and the rear emblem says "GT" instead of roush. The fender badges are roush badges though.

Not sure if the previous owner changed the rims or what - but did ALL of the roush cars come with the Roush rims?

No, not all Roush's came with rims. The Stage 1's and up did.
Roush Sports cam with standard Ford rims.
They also had GT emblems on rear for Roush Sports.
Plus this cars Roush vin doesn't match, and all 05+ Roushes are documented.
They also state it's a Stage 1 but it's missing alot of Roush Parts, and decals (Ex=Windshield Roush Banner?)
Only parts I see that are Roush are the body kit and lovers.
Maybe the stripes but thats hard to really tell unless, it has a window sticker or some sort of documentation.

I still learn new stuff every day if I can.
Hey here's a catch. How many Roush wheels were re-called in early 2005?
Mine were, and so I bought the Foose wheels to replace the Roush one's. Untill they figured out the newer casting process of the ones today.
Now I have the Roush wheels for track use.

The '05 also came with a 10" long x 2" high white "roush" decal in the lower middle of the rear window. However, my car the original owner took it off and you can still fog up the back window and you can see the faint outline of the sticker.

To note with 60+% of the '05's as sports, you have a good chance of spotting a '05 sport. Most had the gray painted 17" bullitt wheels (stock ford), however a few like mine have the 17" polished bullitt wheels (again stock ford).

And of course the biggest giveaway is the rear deck emblem which is a standard stock ford "GT", for the sport.

Another thing is a few of the early '05 sports lacked the optional roush gauge cluster, (some real strippo roush's). So you'll see some with the stock mustang black instruments. Some of these also are lacking the front chin spoiler or louvers as well. Still legit Roush cars, just minimal options.
