Thanks again everybody, great info. the KB boost-a-pump is the way too
    go for me.
My goal is too get my car into the 11's. With the CAI and the 2.57 pully I should be very close.
As of now my best ET is 12.53 @ 113 with my current mods. For those of you who have the 2.57 pully, what are some of your ET'S ???

Hi, first time poster and new member. I just thought that this was an appropriate post to bust my cherry on. I just dropped off my Mustang at Andersen on Friday, I am also going with their power pipe and MAF, installing GT500 pumps, Afco heat exchanger, 4.10's, 62mm TB, Dyno tune and a bunch of other stuff.

I look forward to their results, The car has 5000 miles on it and the HG's were blown so I pulled it apart replaced them and a bunch of little things and then I had it tuned locally but was not happy with the results so have decided to throw more parts at it and a better tuner. It made 395 horse and 365 ft lbs w/ a 2.57 pulley, steeda intake, shorty headers stock cats x pipe and no mufflers. I was expecting more, with the upgrades Andersen is doing and especially their tuning ability, from what I understand, I'm really really looking forward to the results!!!

If warranty is an issue then do what i did. Just took out the air box and replaced it with a Spectre performance cone styled CAI - no tune required! It connects to the roush inlet tube using a polished 45 degree elbow and a coupler. Easy, cheap, looks good, and definately a power adder. You'll just need to find a heat shield that fits, a buddy of mine is making one for me that will mount to the clip that sticks out like a sore in the second pic.

Just dont forget to take it off if you ever go to the dealer for service or anything.

I don't know, if your not tuning the MAF you are asking for problems. The set-up you're running is the same that my car had when I bought it, a cone filter on the end of the roush tube. I had to replace the headgaskets at 4,000 miles, the tune was off also but not specifically re-calibrating the MAF is going to cause you problems and isn't gaining you any real hp probably just the opposite.

Highline, I see that you have the Anderson Powerpipe. What was your gains from it? I have read the writeup's in the magazines, but no real world data.

    Hey Highline

Did Anderson recommend the Gt500 Pumps? I am really interested in the Powerpipe as well. Let me know your results.

    Thanks

No, I personally think the pumps are a must after the 2.57 pulley, but that's my opinion. I also know the pumps have to be tuned so I'm having them install a bunch of parts as we speak. I'll post all sorts of pictures when I get her back later this month.

The power pipe and MAF sensor all look very high quality they claim 17 Hp before and after stocker is removed. Mine made 395 horse 365 tq when it was tuned locally with the 2.57 pulley, steeda intake, shortys, stock cats, x pipe, no mufflers oh and it pinged so I thought I'd put more parts and take it to a reputable tuner, they are throwing on a bunch of things for me.

I'll keep you all posted but I'm expecting it to make 430-460 at the wheels and over 400 ft lbs of tq when I get her back from Andersen, at that time everything you can possibly bolt on to a stock block roushcharged vehicle will be done. I'll keep you gentlemen posted, I'm already excited and can't wait to see the new dyno numbers and drive the hell out of her!!!
