Notchy Shifter and reverse locked out

I put a RAM HD clutch in 1,000 miles ago with a new billet steel flywheel. I only bled the line by pumping the pedal. The shifting has gotten so bad, I could only manage a 14.0 run Friday night because of almost having to force the shifting. At the tree, I rolled through all 3 runs. Reverse is for the most part locked out while the car is running. Any thoughts?

    Vacuum bleed the lines?
    Slave gone bad?

    Thanks in advance,

    JJ

There was somebody else here experiencing much the same issue, but I don't think they have found the solution just yet. It sure sounds as though the clutch is not completely disengaged. Kind of like pushing the clutch pedal only have way down. I suppose it is possible that you have air in the line which would not allow the slave cylinder to completely do its job. I would look at bleeding the line again. Good luck.

    Bad-ass would be an understatement.

Does the GT500 master to slave line help with this?

These cars shift terribly compared to the fox I used to drive around. Cable clutch, lower shift points.

Found out the pressure plate bolts backed out, very weird.

Re-install with Lok-Tite and torque to spec.

Probably overly cautious, but I ordered a new RAM. Not sure if the plate was bent or not. This time I ordered a new slave too. Once it's buttoned up, I don't want to have to go back in. McLeod's could not be found in stock anywhere in Fl or Ga.
